Dear readers,
I belong to a lucky generation. Not only because up until now I have lived in peacetime, but also because I had the good fortune to meet great personalities from both our country and abroad. I grew up in a society which still bore fresh wounds from the successive wars of the first half of the 20th century – a society which did not have the technological tools that facilitate our lives to such a great degree nowadays, but which also absorb our attention excessively.
