Hello Vincent and welcome to SounDarts.gr. What have you been up to these days? You must be really busy lately with all the Eurovision preparations right?
Yes, I am really busy at the moment with all the preparations and it’s not always easy to be a full-time performer/musician and a family dad at the same time 😉
Your song “Alive” is the one that was selected to represent Austria in Eurovision 2020. What’s the story behind it?
I feel honored to be able to represent my country. This time, there was an internal selection where different artists could send in their songs, and I am very happy that they chose me this year.
In addition to your performance, in what other ways did you get involved in creating the song?
I was one of the songwriters, composers and producers, that’s why I was involved in the whole production of the song.
Could you tell us what should we expect from your live performance on the Eurovision stage in May?
A lot of good vibes and an awesome performance.
Have you heard Stefania’s “SUPERG!RL” which will represent our country to Eurovision? What are your thoughts about it?
Yes, I listened to it. Amazing that she is only 17 years old and already representing her country. I am sure a lot of young people will like her song. I love it!
