    After it was made official that Faithfull had passed away at the age of 78, Jagger took to social media to share a heartfelt reflection:

    “I am so saddened to hear of the death of Marianne Faithfull. She was so much part of my life for so long. She was a wonderful friend, a beautiful singer and a great actress. She will always be remembered.”

    Jagger, of course, at one point dated Faithfull, and he and Keith Richards co-wrote her debut hit single, 1964’s “As Tears Go By,” alongside Stones producer Andrew Loog Oldham.
